Nitin Desai Death: Renowned art director Nitin Chandrakant Desai committed suicide by hanging himself


A shocking news has come out from the world of entertainment. Renowned art director and 4 national award winner Nitin Chandrakant Desai has committed suicide. He committed suicide by hanging himself in the early morning at the ND studio of Karjat . A preliminary investigation into the case revealed that he was struggling with depression. This news has shocked Bollywood along with Marathi cinema industry. A mountain of grief has fallen on Nitin's family. This information has come to light that the people working in ND Studio found his body hanging from the fan in the morning. A few days ago i.e. on  4th July 2023 Nitin Desai had started the work of Raja Mandapam and sets of Lalbagh. The pictures of the mandap poojan and the pooja before starting the decoration were posted by Nitin Desai on his social media account. Lagaan, Jodha Akbar, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, ' Many films like 1942 A Love Story', 'Machis', 'Devdas', 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' were decorated by his art direction.



After the news of Nitin Chandrakant Desai's suicide, MLA Mahesh Baldi spoke to ANI and gave information about him. He said, "He had a meeting with Nitin a few weeks ago. He was under financial stress for the past few months. For the past one month only small serials have been started in their ND studio. He also expressed his regret while talking to Baldi that he was not getting work for big projects. Therefore, Baldi has also explained that financial crisis can be the only reason behind Nitin Chandrakant Desai's death.
