Raj Kapoor solves Dilip Kumar's family problem
Raj Kapoor and Dilip Kumar were childhood
friends. Both of them were going to the same school in Peshawar. Raj
Kapoor's grandfather Dewan Basheshwar Nath Singh Kapoor was a
commissioner. Dilip Kumar's father Ghulam Sarwar Khan was a fruit
trader. Both the families migrated to Mumbai in the thirties. The
friendship between the two families continued here as well. Both Raj
Kapoor and Dilip Kumar took admission in Khalsa College, Mumbai. Both used
to play cricket and football there.
Raj Kapoor's father Prithviraj Kapoor was traveling
all over the country experimenting with plays. Raj Kapoor also worked with
him. Dilip Kumar's father, however, hated drama and cinema. Ghulam
Sarovar Khan wanted his son to study hard and become an ICS and become a big
government officer. So he asked him to always focus on education. Raj
Kapoor's grandfather Dewan had a huge moustache. He was very proud of this
moustache. Once Dilip Kumar's father Ghulam Sarwar Khan said to Diwan
Basheshwarnath Singh, "Do you grow mustaches?" Your son does
tricks there and your grandson is now in the same business!” Divanji just
smiled.(Dilip Kumar)
A few days later, Dilip Kumar joined Bombay Talkies
without telling anyone at home. I don't know when his first one or two
movies came or went. But when the film Juganu with Noor Jahan was released
in 1947, it became a super hit. Dilip Kumar posters appeared in all the
streets of Mumbai. Dileep's father owned a fruit stall at Crawford
Market. Once Diwanji went there and took him by the hand and brought him
out and said to him, "Let me show you a trick!" He came out and
pointed to a big poster on the road and said, “Look, your son is working in a
movie. You were saying that my son and grandson play tricks.
Now see what your Sahab Jade is doing.” Dilip
Kumar's father lost his senses after seeing the poster of his son. The
face was seen of his son but the name was Dilip Kumar. Diwan said,
"But you should not worry at all. Although the boy is yours, he has
changed his name now. He is now Yusuf Khan's Dilip Kumar!” Hearing
this, Ghulam Sarvar Khan became even more angry. After Tawatawa went home,
he told everything to the family and the family stopped talking to Dilip
Kumar. Dilip Kumar (Dilip Kumar) noticed this type. He had made a
mistake but what to do now? He could not work with the displeasure of his
family. what to do At this moment I remembered my childhood friend
Raj Kapoor!

He went to Raj Kapoor and said, “Now you get me out
of this!” Raj Kapoor thought if we go there ourselves, the matter may get
more serious. Grandpa can't be sent there because he created the
problem. Then he decided to send his father Prithviraj Kapoor there. Prithviraj
Kapoor met Ghulam Sarwar Khan and took him into great confidence and told him,
“Times have changed now, Khan Saheb. Your son is doing great. He has
made a name for himself all over India and acting in dramas and films is no mean
feat. On the contrary, the acting in you comes before the world. Your
son will surely gain popularity and respect that a government official
deserves. So stop worrying and support his decision by forgiving him for
opening up!” Prithviraj Kapoor's explanation calmed Ghulam Sarwar Khan's
anger. And forgave Dilip Kumar. In this way, Raj Kapoor solved a big
family problem in Dilip Kumar's house very easily!
